Clare College is looking to appoint a Senior Tutor from October 2007. The Senior Tutor, as a College Officer, will have responsibility for student recruitment, teaching, and pastoral support in the College. Clare has 450 undergraduates and 180 postgraduate students, almost all of whom are resident in College. The Senior Tutor has overall responsibility for Directors of Studies, Admissions Tutors, Tutors and the Tutorial Office staff, and many others - and will be the driving force leading the College's progressive development for the future. A Fellowship will be offered. Relocation costs will be reimbursed in appropriate cases. The post is a half-time post of three years with a salary in the region of £31,000.
