European Education Policy Network: Conference

DEFINING THE EUROPEAN EDUCATION AGENDA

This one-day conference, organized by the European Education Policy Network, will bring together researchers and policy-makers to explore the emerging European education policy agenda. A series of panels will explore the underlying themes, principles, and objectives of European-level policy developments in education, and discuss current approaches and emerging trends in academic research into European educational policy. The meeting will take place on 11 January 2007 at the New Faculty of Education Building on Hills Road, and is kindly supported by the Education, Equality, and Development Research group at the Faculty of Education, and the Jean Monnet Centre for European Studies in the Centre of International Studies. Registration is £15, and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. A conference dinner, drinks reception, and subsidized accommodation at Pembroke College are also available to delegates at additional cost. Registration closes on 20 December 2006.
