RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER IN THE FACULTY OF HISTORY

Applications are invited for the post of Research Development Officer in the Faculty of History, for a fixed term, until 31 December 2007. This is an exciting opportunity, working in a vibrant research environment, to identify and secure external funding for potential research projects, managing the process from initial investigation through to the ongoing monitoring of successful applications.

Candidates should have some knowledge of the externally funded research environment or fund-raising, sound financial skills, excellent report/proposal-writing skills, and an eye for detail in preparing applications. The salary will be in the range of £25,633 to £31,525 a year (grade 7).
