RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN THE HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Applications are invited from women graduates of any university for a stipendiary or non-stipendiary Research Fellowship in subjects falling within the general field of the Humanities and Social Sciences, tenable for three years from 1 October 2007. Applications are sought this year from graduates who, if successful, would expect to seek affiliation to one of the following Faculties of Cambridge University: Business and Management, Economics, Education, English, Law, Music, or to the Department of Land Economy (including Development Studies). Further information about these Faculties and the Department of Land Economy may be obtained from the University of Cambridge's website at http://www.cam.ac.uk/. Graduate students of Newnham College in any subject within the general field of Humanities and Social Sciences may also apply. There is no age limit but the Research Fellowship will normally be awarded to candidates who have recently completed their Ph.D. or are close to completion. The closing date for applications is 10 November 2006. Selected candidates will be invited by 22 December to submit, by 8 January 2007, three copies of a dissertation or other written work. The College expects to reach a decision in April 2007.

RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, OR ENGINEERING

Applications are invited from women graduates of any university for a Research Fellowship, stipendiary or non-stipendiary, in any field of Science, Mathematics, or Engineering tenable for three years from 1 October 2007. Application forms and full particulars may be obtained from the Principal, Newnham College, Cambridge, CB3 9DF (e-mail principal@newn.cam.ac.uk) or from the College's website at http://www.newn.cam.ac.uk/. The closing date for applications is 1 February 2007. Selected candidates will be invited in mid-February to submit, by 1 March 2007, three copies of a dissertation or other written work. The College expects to reach a decision in April 2007.
