REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICES BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 335)

With effect from 1 October 2006

The papers available to candidates who proceed to Part IB of the Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos without first taking Part IA were not identified in the recent notice announcing the change to regulations (see Reporter, p. 718). Regulation 23 has been amended accordingly.

Regulation 23.

By inserting a new sub-paragraph (d) so as to read:

(d)for a candidate for Part IB under Regulation 3(b)1 the Faculty Board shall have power to determine the papers that the candidate shall offer, in general conformity with the provisions of either (a) or (b) above.

1 That is a candidate who has obtained honours in an Honours Examination other than Part IA of the Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos.
