Geographical Tripos

Marks of distinction have been used for some years in all class-lists and the immediate change to regulations is to reflect that current practice. Amendments have been made to the titles of a number of papers in Part IB of the Geographical Tripos. The regulations have also been amended to allow for an additional form of assessment to be introduced into Part IB of the Tripos.

With immediate effect

Regulation 13.

By replacing the words 'Part II' with 'each Part of the Tripos'.

With effect from 1 October 2006

Part Ib

Regulation 18.

By amending the sub-titles of the following papers:

Regulation 19(b).

By deleting from subsection (i) the words 'and Methods, and'; by deleting the last sentence; and by adding a new subsection (iii) after the words 'by the candidate' in the last line to read:

'and, (iii) a dissertation proposal,'

Regulation 25.

By inserting in line 2 after 'records of practical exercises' the words ', and dissertation proposals'.

The details for Papers 4 and 5 of Part IA of the Tripos have been interchanged.
