COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN LAW

Balliol College invites applications for a College Lectureship in Law for the academical year 2006-07. The Lecturer will be asked to teach up to twelve hours of tutorials a week, and to assist with the administration of Law in Balliol, including admissions, and with the pastoral care of undergraduate and graduate students.

The stipend will be on a scale which is currently £18,925-£21,156 a year, depending on qualifications and experience. The Lecturer will have Senior Common Room rights, including an entitlement to free meals in term, and the use of a teaching room.

Prospective applicants can contact Dr Grant Lamond (e-mail grant.lamond@law.ox.ac.uk) or the Senior Tutor (e-mail senior.tutor@balliol.ox.ac.uk) for further details. Applications, containing a curriculum vitae, a statement of research and teaching experience, and the names of two referees, should be sent to the Senior Tutor, Balliol College, Oxford, OX1 3BJ, by 7 July 2006. Candidates should ask their referees to write directly to the Senior Tutor by that date; it would be helpful if at least one referee could comment on the candidate's teaching experience and abilities.

Balliol College is an equal opportunities employer.
