Parched Earth, an interactive discussion evening to mark World Environment Day 2006, organized by the Cambridge Environmental Initiative and New Hall, will be held at 7.30 p.m. on 5 June in the Buckingham House Lecture Theatre, New Hall, Huntingdon Road. All are welcome and admission is free.
Participants are invited to ask questions on topics such as water, coping with drought in Africa, desert ecosystems, and the effects of rapid climate change.
