Queens' College

LECTURESHIP AND FELLOWSHIP IN LAW

Applications are invited for a College Lectureship in Law. The appointment will be for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of reappointment for a further seven years, and will be associated with a Fellowship.

Applicants should be active in research in any field of law, and should be willing to provide undergraduate supervision in any two of the following subjects: EU Law, International Law, the Law of Tort, Criminal Law. The successful candidate will be required to provide six hours of supervision a week during term-time. As a contribution to the development of the College's international programme, the successful candidate will also be required to provide an introductory course of lectures in European Law (broadly conceived) for selected law students from Japan. The post may, therefore, be of particular interest to those with a comparative interest in East Asian law.

The stipend will be on an incremental scale between £21,055 and £34,866 a year, depending on qualifications and experience.
