Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Revised Regulations): Final M.B. Examination, Part I, 2006

In the Reporter of 16 June 2004 (p. 846) it was announced that with effect from 1 October 2004, the examination for Part I of the Final M.B. Examination would be held twice a year only, in the Lent Term and in December, in order to bring the number of sittings into line with those for the revised Part II of the examination. Regulation 14 of the Revised Regulations (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 430) was amended accordingly.

The Faculty Board of Clinical Medicine have advised the General Board that this has caused hardship to those few students who were unsuccessful in the Lent Term 2006 sitting, and who have no chance to resit the examination until December. The Board have agreed that, notwithstanding Regulation 14, an additional examination for Part I should be held in June 2006 according to the following timetable:
