Applications are invited for the Esmée Fairbairn Junior Research Fellowship in Classics for three years from 1 October 2006. The person appointed will be expected to undertake advanced research in any branch of Classical Languages and Literature or Ancient History.
Fellowship applicants must, at the time of taking up the post, have completed at least two years of study for an advanced degree. The Fellowship carries a stipend of £16,390 a year (subject to review). In addition, the Fellow will be entitled to free rooms (subject to availability), to meals in College, and to entertainment, research, and book allowances.
