The second Cambridge Historical Society and Trevelyan Biennial Lecture and Colloquium, with the theme Globalization and the West: the Iberian experience, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on 11 May, in the Mong Room, Sidney Sussex College. The Colloquium will begin with a special lecture by the guest speaker, Professor Serge Gruzinski, of L'École des Haute Études en Sciences Sociales, followed by responding papers from Professor Peter Burke, of Emmanuel College, Dr Caroline Dodds, of Sidney Sussex College, Dr Richard Drayton, of Corpus Christi College, and Dr Gabriela Ramos, of Newnham College.
