NADEN RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN DIVINITY

The Council of St John's College invite applications for a Research Associate in Divinity in the University of Cambridge. The Research Associate will be expected to carry out research on a topic approved by the College Council whilst residing within the University or at another place approved by the Council. It is not a condition of election that the candidate shall have to be admitted to a degree in Divinity or Theology, nor that the student shall work for a higher degree in Cambridge.

The tenure of the Research Associate, which should begin between 1 October 2006 and 1 January 2007, will be for up to two years. The annual pensionable emolument will be in the range of £20,044 to £22,289. The successful candidate will be assisted to find accommodation in Cambridge and will be granted some dining privileges at the Fellows' Table. The Research Associate will make such reports on the scope and progress of the research as the Council shall require.
