DR JOHN ARNFIELD HEAP, CMG, Ph.D., of Clare College, Director of the Scott Polar Research Institute 1992-97, died on 8 March 2006, aged 74 years.

PROFESSOR ROBERT KEMSLEY (ROBIN) ORR, CBE, M.A., Mus.D., Emeritus Professor of Music, Honorary Fellow of St John's College 1987-2006, and of Pembroke College 1988-2006 (Organ Scholar 1929-1932), Organist of St John's College 1938-1951, Fellow 1948-1956 and 1965-1976, died on 9 April 2006, aged 96 years.

PROFESSOR NORMAN JOHN GREVILLE POUNDS, B.A., M.A., Ph.D., Fitzwilliam House 1931-34, Tutor 1944-50, Fitzwilliam College, died on 23 March 2006, aged 94 years.

RICHARD STOREY, University Marshal 1989-2004, died on 23 March 2006, aged 65 years.

CHARLES LESLIE WAYPER, M.A., Ph.D., Life Fellow, Tutor 1948-50 and 1969-79, Director of Studies in History 1948-77, Fellow 1963-1980, President 1970-74, Fitzwilliam College, Staff Tutor in History 1946-77, Secretary of the University's Board of Extra-Mural Studies, and Director of Extra-Mural Studies 1977-80, Secretary of the Cambridge Society 1982-92, died on 15 March 2006, aged 93 years.
