DOMESTIC BURSAR

Trinity College wishes to appoint a Domestic Bursar with effect from August 2006. The Domestic Bursar is responsible for managing all the domestic operations of Trinity in accordance with its overall strategy and working closely with the Estates Bursar. These include its conference and functions business, accommodation/housekeeping, catering, the College bar, the gardens, security, and the Senior Common Room services of the College. The position also involves representation of the College within the University and externally. The Domestic Bursar will be a Fellow of the College, accountable to its Governing Body. The post is full time and calls for someone with senior facilities management experience to lead a team of managers committed to the continuous development of high quality services and profitable business growth. The College is seeking to appoint someone with commercial acumen and a high level of communication skills who is able to work effectively with Fellows, other executive officers, students, non-academic staff, and alumni.
