St Hugh's College

FULL-TIME SENIOR TUTOR

The College intends to elect a full-time Senior Tutor to take office in September 2006. The Senior Tutor will be responsible for overseeing the College's academic activities, including the development of policy, arrangements for admitting and teaching undergraduates, graduate admission and supervision, and relations with University and external bodies. The position involves no teaching or research duties, but candidates should be strongly sympathetic to academic values and concerns, and have experience of administration or management in an academic context. This is an exciting and challenging role at the heart of one of Oxford University's largest Colleges.

The Senior Tutor will be a Fellow of the College. Remuneration will be £50,000 to £60,000 a year. Further information is available on the College website at www.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/, or from the Principal's Secretary, St Hugh's College, St Margaret's Road, Oxford, OX2 6LE (tel. 01865 274914, e-mail catherine.barton@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk). The closing date for applications is 28 April 2006.
