Appointments, reappointment, and grants of title

The following appointments, reappointment, and grants of title have been made:

Appointments

Associate Lecturer

Veterinary Medicine. Mr David Richard Ellis, Vet.M.B., London, MRCVS, appointed from 1 October 2005 for five years.

Acting Head of Department

Pharmacology. Dr John Michael Edwardson, CHR, appointed from 25 April 2006 to 16 March 2007.

Under-Librarian

University Library. Mr Richard Hardy appointed from 1 December 2005 until the retiring age.

Senior Assistant Keepers

Fitzwilliam Museum. Dr Sally-Ann Ashton and Dr Adrian Popescu appointed from 1 January 2006 until the retiring age.

Administrative Officers

University Offices (Secretariat). Mr Timothy Nicholas Milner, M.A., PET, M.A., Wales, appointed part-time Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 16 November 2005 until the retiring age, with duties in the Vice-Chancellor's Office, and concurrently appointed an additional Pro-Proctor for ceremonial matters.

University Offices (Academic Division). Mrs Silvana Maria Dean appointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 6 March 2006 until the retiring age, with duties in the Faculty of Economics.

Computer Officers

Classics. Mr Stephen John Kimberley appointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 16 January 2006 until the retiring age.

Oncology. Mr Andrew Scully, B.Eng., Manchester, M.Sc., Sheffield, appointed Computer Officer, Grade III, from 24 February 2006 until the retiring age.

Philosophy. Miss Marie-France Moss, B.Sc., Anglia Polytechnic University, appointed Computer Officer, Grade III, from 13 March 2006 until the retiring age.

Reappointment

University Lecturer

Social Anthropology. Dr Yael Navaro-Yashin, N, reappointed from 1 October 2006 until the retiring age.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

English. Dr Sarah Annes Brown, LC, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further two years.

Land Economy. Dr Danuta Jachniak has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for two years.
