DOMESTIC MANAGER

St Catherine's College is seeking to appoint to the position of Domestic Manager. This is an important post requiring a substantial background in hotel and catering, ideally within an educational context.

The Domestic Manager at St Catherine's is responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of the College's domestic functions. The appointee will be leading a team of independent service managers, ensuring the delivery of a co-ordinated and seamless service to all users. By bringing experience and expertise gained in hotel and catering management the appointee will be looking to ensure the highest standards of service for the College's academic, student, and conference communities. The appointee will need to demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

As a key member of the small College management team the appointee will be expected to communicate effectively at all levels, and will have the energy, determination, innovation, and imagination required to provide a first class professional product.

The College is looking for a solid food and beverage background, together with strong business acumen and a good working knowledge of all aspects of hotel and catering operations. Experience gained in a large venue, where the very highest of standards are as important as efficiency, would be particularly useful. The appointee will have been responsible for the control of budgets and staff.

In addition to an attractive salary the post brings with it full contributory pension, entry to a healthcare plan, two-bedroom flat provided, six weeks' annual leave, and meals whilst on duty. Salary will be within the range of £33,646 to £36,959 a year.
