St Hugh's College

FIXED-TERM TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN PHILOSOPHY

St Hugh's College proposes to appoint a fixed-term Tutorial Fellow in Philosophy for the period October 2006 to September 2009.

Applications are welcome from candidates with interests in any area of Philosophy, but the successful candidate must be able to teach at least two of the three sections of the Introduction to Philosophy subject for first-year undergraduates, namely General Philosophy, Moral Philosophy, and Logic, and at least two of the following four subjects for the Final Honour Schools: History of Philosophy from Descartes to Kant; Knowledge and Reality; Ethics; and Philosophy of Mathematics. An ability and willingness to give undergraduate lectures and/or graduate seminars on Kant would be an advantage.
