The Winston Churchill Open Day will take place on 4 March, at Churchill Archives Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge, CB3 0DS. The programme will be as follows:
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. | An opportunity to see some of the treasures of the collection and demonstrations of the online resources and conservation work (Churchill Archives Centre). |
4 p.m. | David Reynolds, Professor of International History in the Faculty of History, author and broadcaster, will give a keynote lecture entitled The Iron Curtain speech: sixty years on. This will be illustrated with documents and photographs from the Churchill Papers (Wolfson Lecture Theatre, Churchill College). |
