NON-STIPENDIARY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

Applications are invited for up to two non-stipendiary Research Fellowships tenable from 1 October 2006. The appointments will be initially for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal for a further year; the Fellowship will be coterminous with the applicant's external funding. Applicants should be of postdoctoral level or expect to attain it by 1 October 2006, should have adequate financial support from a grant or contract for research, and should normally be resident and conducting their research in Cambridge, or intending to be resident and conducting their research in Cambridge as from 1 October 2006. Applications are welcomed from applicants in all fields of research. The successful applicant(s) will be expected to play an active part in the life of the College, and will be expected to offer some undergraduate teaching.

Applications should include a current curriculum vitae, an outline (not normally exceeding 1,000 words) of the research project on which the applicant will be working as from 1 October 2006, details of his/her source(s) of funding, and the names of two referees who the applicant should ask to write directly to the Warden, Robinson College, Cambridge, CB3 9AN, by the closing date of 24 February 2006. Short-listed applicants will be invited to submit a substantial piece of work relating to their research. It is hoped to interview applicants in late March.
