The Charles Stewart Parnell Lecture 2006, entitled The politics of history: writing early modern history in Parnellian Ireland, will be given by Professor Nicholas Canny, Parnell Fellow, 2005-06, Professor of History at the National University of Ireland, Galway, in the Sir Humphrey Cripps Theatre, Cripps Court, Magdalene College, at 5.15 p.m. on 13 February, followed by a wine reception.
