VISITING SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP 2007-08

The President and Fellows of St John's College invite applications for a Visiting Senior Research Fellowship for the academical year 2007-08, or part thereof. The Fellowship is intended to offer an experienced academic (normally with at least 15 years' postdoctoral experience) of outstanding distinction, from abroad or the United Kingdom, an opportunity to pursue his or her own study or research as a member of the College. The Fellow will be expected to reside in Oxford during term. Accommodation for a married or unmarried Fellow will be provided, free of charge, in the vicinity of the College. The Fellow will have the right to lunch and dine in College, also free of charge. There is no stipend attached to the Fellowship, and no facilities or domestic help can be offered to spouses, partners, or family members, beyond sharing the above accommodation.

Applications, in the form of a letter, should include a full curriculum vitae, the names of three referees, and a statement of the research or other work proposed during the Fellowship. Applications should be received by the Academic Administrator, St John's College, Oxford, OX1 3JP, not later than 6 March.

SUPERNUMERARY TEACHING FELLOW IN FRENCH

St John's College invites applications from suitably qualified men and women for a five-year fixed-term Supernumerary Teaching Fellowship in French, with effect from 1 October 2006. The successful candidate will have teaching and research interests in French Literature between the Renaissance and the nineteenth century.

COLLEGE STIPENDIARY LECTURESHIP IN PSYCHOLOGY
