FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

Lucy Cavendish College invites applications from women* for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in English, with effect from 1 September 2006 or as soon as possible thereafter. Lucy Cavendish College admits women of 21 years and over as undergraduates and graduates. Applications are welcome from candidates with interests in teaching and research in any field or period of English literature. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of undergraduate courses.

The appointment will be for three years in the first instance with the possibility of renewal for periods of five years at a time, and is subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the College which include residence requirements.

The stipend of a College Lecturer, which is pensionable under the Universities Superannuation Scheme, will be at a point on a scale from £23,182 a year, depending on qualifications and experience.
