The Faculty Board of Physics and Chemistry give notice of a minor change in the requirement for entry to the Natural Sciences Tripos, Part III (Experimental and Theoretical Physics), which is necessitated by the abolition of Natural Sciences Tripos, Part II (General).
In order to be a candidate for honours in Experimental and Theoretical Physics in Part III of the Natural Sciences Tripos a student should:
| (1) | have taken Advanced Physics in Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos and obtained at least a II.2 as an overall classification in Part IB; and |
| (2) | either have obtained honours in Experimental and Theoretical Physics in Part II or have obtained at least 70% in Half Subject Physics in Part II (Physical Science) in the previous year. |
