Elections, appointments, and reappointments

The following elections, appointments, and reappointments have been made:

Elections

Professor Koen Alexander Steemers, M.Phil., W, B.Sc., B.Arch., Bath, Reader of Environmental Design in the Department of Architecture, elected Professor of Sustainable Design from 1 December 2005.

Professor Robert Charles Kennicutt, B.S., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, M.S., Ph.D., Washington, Professor/Astronomer, Arizona, elected Plumian Professor of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy with effect from a date to be determined.

Dr Fiona Mary Watt, B.A., NH, Ph.D., Oxford, Head of Keratinocyte Laboratory, CR-UK London Research Institute, elected Herchel Smith Professor of Molecular Genetics from 1 September 2006.
