Appointments, reappointment, and grants of title

The following appointments, reappointment, and grants of title have been made:

Appointments

Resident

Veterinary Medicine. Miss Katherine Hughes, B.Sc., B.V.Sc., appointed Resident in Veterinary Pathology from 1 January 2006 for two years.

Assistant Directors of Research

Biochemistry. Dr Helen Ruth Mott, CAI, B.A., D.Phil, Oxford, and Dr Darerca Owen, B.Sc., Ph.D., Liverpool, have been appointed from 1 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Departmental Secretary

Veterinary Medicine. Miss Katheryn Michelle Ayres, B.A., Derby, M.A., Open, appointed Departmental Secretary, Grade C, from 14 November 2005 until the retiring age.

Advisory Officer

University Offices (Secretariat). Mr Simon Edward Marriott, B.L., Belfast, appointed Advisory Officer, Grade I, from 28 November 2005 until the retiring age.

Computer Officers

Computing Service. Miss Sheena MacRae, B.Sc., Anglia Polytechnic University, appointed Computer Officer, Grade III, from 17 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Divinity. Mr David John Goode, appointed part-time Computer Officer, Grade III, from 1 August 2005 until the retiring age.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Architecture and History of Art. Mr Gary Butler, Ms Lorna Anne McNeur, LC, and Ms Ingrid Iniga Schroder, G, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.

English. Dr Samuel James Barrett, PEM, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.

French. Ms Isabelle McNeill, TH, and Dr Margaret Rigaud-Drayton, CHR, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years. Dr Elizabeth Marion Guild, R, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further two years.

Geography. Dr Anne Catherine Hinton has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for one year. Dr Andrea Moscariello has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further year.

German. Dr Anita Mary Bunyan, CAI, Dr Stephen Reid Fennell, JN, Dr John David Guthrie, NH, and Dr Charlotte Woodford, SE, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further two years.

Italian. Mrs Julie Rosalind Dashwood, LC, and Dr Margaret Rigaud-Drayton, CHR, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.

Linguistics. Dr Mary Theresa Biberauer, N, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.

Oriental Studies. Dr Julia Lovell, Q, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.

Other Languages. Dr David Kenyon Money, W, and Dr Panagiotis Toufexis have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.

Philosophy. Dr Derek Cameron Matravers, JE, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 20 October 2005 for a further two years.

Slavonic Studies. Mrs Iwona Krasodomska-Jones has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years. Dr Brian Frederick Cooper, CTH, and Dr Diane Ella Oenning Thompson, CLH, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further two years.

Spanish and Portuguese. Dr Francisco Bautista has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for one year. Miss Leonor Barata has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further year. Dr Rosemary Corrie Clark, CL, Miss Guadalupe Garcia-González, Miss Silvia González-Jové, Ms Paz Marin-Garcia, and Dr Maria Ruth Noriega-Sanchez have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years. Dr Stuart Davis, G, Dr Elizabeth Drayson, NH, Dr Carmen Olmedilla, and Miss Anna Sánchez-Rufat have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further two years.
