Appointments

Deputy Head of Department

Chemistry. Mrs Christine May Sargent, appointed Departmental Secretary, Grade C, from 1 November 2005 until the retiring age.

Mrs Jamie Horsley, B.A., Illinois Wesleyan University, M.A., East Anglia, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 1 January 2006 until the retiring age, with duties in the Department of Geography. Miss Laura Clare Smethhurst, B.A., Durham, M.St., Oxford, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 1 January 2006 until the retiring age, with duties in the Department of Land Economy. Mr Benedict Andrew Warn, B.A., Leeds, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 8 November 2005 until the retiring age. Dr Gillian E. Wallace, B.A., California, M.Phil., Ph.D., K, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 1 February 2006 until the retiring age.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Clinical Medicine. Dr Neil Godfried Hartman, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 November 2005 for a further two years.

History and Philosophy of Science. Dr Nader El-Bizri, Dr James John Endersby, DAR, and Dr Sujit Pradin Sivasundaram, CAI, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years. Dr Soraya de Chadarevian, CHU, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for a further two years.
