The following appointments and grant of title have been made:

Appointments

University Lecturers

Anatomy. Dr David John Parker, Ph.D., W, B.Sc., Wales, appointed from 1 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Chemical Engineering. Dr Alexander Francis Routh, M.A., M.Eng., CAI, Ph.D., Princeton, appointed from 1 January 2006 until the retiring age.

Engineering. Dr Digby Duncan Symons, M.A. PET, D.Phil., Oxford, appointed from 1 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Assistant Registrary

University Offices (Secretariat). Mr David Parsons, M.A., Q, appointed from 4 November 2005 until the retiring age.

Secretary

School of the Physical Sciences. Dr John Andrew Dalton, B.Sc., CNNA, Ph.D., Bristol, appointed from 1 November 2005 until the retiring age.

Departmental Secretary

Veterinary Medicine. Mrs Gina Kim Arnold, appointed Departmental Secretary, Grade C, from 1 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Advisory Officers

University Offices (Secretariat). Mr Peter James Hardy appointed Advisory Officer, Grade I, from 1 October 2005 until the retiring age.

University Offices (Estate Management and Building Service). Mr Ian James Brown and Mr Paul David Fish, have been appointed Advisory Officers, Grade I, from 10 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Administrative Officers

University Offices (Academic Division). Ms Carolyn Ann Dakers, B.A., Open, appointed part-time Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 10 October 2005 until the retiring age, with duties in the School of Clinical Medicine.

University Offices (Personnel Division). Mr Peter Geoffrey Pilbeam appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 1 June 2005 until the retiring age.

Grant of Title

Affiliated Lecturer

Clinical Medicine. Dr Mark H. Reacher, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 November 2005 for a further two years.
