The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

The regulations have been amended to rename the essay submitted in Part I as 'Part I short dissertation' and the dissertation in Part IIB as 'Part IIB dissertation'.
Regulations 13 and 18.
By replacing the word 'essay(s)' by the words 'Part I short dissertation(s)' in the last sentences of Regulations 13 and 18(e) and (f) and in the first sentences of Regulation 18(a), (d), (e), and (f)(i).
The reference to 'Regulation 15' in the first line of the second paragraph of Regulation 13 should read 'Regulation 18'.
Regulations 16 and 18.
By replacing the word 'dissertation' by the words 'Part IIB dissertation' in lines 2 of Regulation 16(a) and (b) and at each occurrence in Regulation 18(c), (d), (e), and (f)(ii) and in the last paragraph of that regulation.
