On 31 October at 8.30 p.m. in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Dr Helen Mason, of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, will deliver a lecture entitled Our dynamic sun. All who are interested are invited.
The Larmor Lecture which was to be delivered on 17 October unfortunately had to be cancelled. It is hoped that the Larmor Lecture will be rescheduled in the Lent Term 2006.
The Cambridge Philosophical Society's Honorary Fellows Prize Lecture for 2005 will be given by Professor John Horton Conway, FRS, on 9 November, at 5.15 p.m. in the Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Site. All who are interested are invited.
