Applications are invited for one or more Research Fellowships tenable for three years from 1 October 2006. Fields considered this year will be: History since c. 1500, English Literature since c. 1500, Materials Science, Sociology, and Social Anthropology. The Research Fellowships are open to graduates of any university who on 1 October 2006 will have completed not more than five years of research. Candidates with an external source of funding will be eligible for a non-stipendiary award.
