JOINT APPLICATION SCHEME FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS 2006

The two Colleges invite applications for Junior Research Fellowships which will normally be tenable for three years from 1 October 2006. Fellowships are open to graduates, women and men, of any university who have recently completed their doctorate. Successful candidates will normally have submitted their theses between 1 March 2004 and 1 March 2006. Candidates with no previous connection with Cambridge or Oxford Universities are welcome.

A total of five Fellowships is offered but candidates are warned that competition is likely to be intense: last year over 300 applications were received.

Churchill College is offering two non-stipendiary Fellowships, and a Raymond and Beverly Sackler Research Fellowship. Trinity Hall is offering one stipendiary Fellowship in Arts and Social Sciences and one stipendiary Fellowship in Sciences.
