A memorial concert will be held to celebrate the life of Professor Sir James William Longman Beament, FRS, FRSA, Life Fellow of Queens' College, on 17 November, in the Old Hall, Queens' College, commencing at 7 p.m.
A reception will be held in the Old Kitchens followed by a Concert Programme in the Old Hall which will include Jimmie Beament's composition 'Oddy in Troyland'. Drinks will be available after the concert until 9 p.m.
Fifty-five seats are available for this memorial concert. They will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The closing date for requests to attend the concert is 10 November.
