ALUMNI RELATIONS OFFICER

The Development Office is seeking an experienced and energetic Alumni Relations Officer to join a busy and friendly team.

The Office is seeking someone who has an excellent understanding of development work in the education or charity sector and who can bring relevant experience in fund-raising or alumni relations to the team. Equally important is enthusiasm for the job and the College, a willingness to work in a flexible and committed manner, and a desire to achieve goals.

The Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for managing the alumni database, ensuring records are kept up to date, and organizing the old member reunions. He or she acts as the primary point of contact for old members, so a friendly and efficient manner is essential. Stewardship of the College's donors and potential donors is also an extremely important part of the job.

An excellent command of verbal and written English is necessary, as is a degree-level education, and a high level of competence in computer skills. Knowledge of Raiser's Edge or a similar database would be a distinct advantage.
