Annual Meetings of the Faculties

Architecture and History of Art

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Architecture and History of Art gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on 8 November, in the Classroom at the Department of Architecture, 1-5 Scroope Terrace. The main business is to elect members of the Faculty Board in class (c) (Statute C, IV, 2(c)) to serve for four years, until 31 December 2009.

Nominations for election and notice of any other business, should be sent to the Secretary, Mrs Virginia Bennett, 1-5 Scroope Terrace, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1PX, to arrive not later than 4 November.

Biology

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Biology gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 10 a.m. on 14 November, in the Department of Pathology, Tennis Court Road. The main business is to elect two members of the Faculty Board in class (c) (Statute C, IV, 2), in accordance with a procedure approved by the Faculty by which one of those elected is nominated by the Department of Experimental Psychology to serve until 31 December 2009, and one by the Department of Genetics to serve to 31 December 2009.

Nominations, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, signed by the proposer and seconder, together with notice of any other business, should be sent to the Secretary, Mrs Pauline Blake, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RX, to arrive not later than 21 October. Copies of the Agenda will be posted in Departments in the Faculty.

Modern and Medieval Languages

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Modern and Medieval Languages gives notice that the Annual Faculty Meeting will be held at 2.15 p.m. on 21 November, in the Little Hall, Sidgwick Avenue. The main business will be to elect seven members of the Faculty Board in class (c), in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2(c), four to serve for four years, two to serve for three years, and one to serve for two years, with effect from 1 January 2006.

Nominations for the election and notice of any other business should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages, Sidgwick Avenue, not later than 11 November.

Music

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Music gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2 p.m. on 3 November, in Lecture Room 1 of the University Music School, West Road.

Notice of any business to be transacted should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Mrs S. C. Round, Faculty of Music, 11 West Road, not later than 26 October.

Oriental Studies

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Oriental Studies gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2 p.m. on 8 November, in Lecture Room 1, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Sidgwick Avenue. Among the business to be transacted will be the election, in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2(c), of three members to serve on the Faculty Board for four years from 1 January 2006.

Nominations, signed by the proposer and seconder, should be returned to the Administrator not later than 1 November, together with notice of any other business.

Veterinary Medicine

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Veterinary Medicine gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 4.45 p.m. on 10 November, in the Senior Common Room of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Madingley Road. The main item of business will be to elect, in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2(c), three members in class (c) to serve for four years from 1 January 2006.

Nominations for election, signed by the proposer and seconder, and accompanied by the consent of the person nominated, together with notice of any other business for this meeting, should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Madingley Road, not later than 9 November.
