In collaboration with the Ceylon Bloomsbury Group the Cambridge Society will present, on 22 October at Lucy Cavendish College, a day of talks concerning The Village in the Jungle, written by Leonard Woolf. A recently-published edition, revised and annotated by Yasmine Gooneratne, restores the book to its original and unexpurgated state.
Speakers will include Victoria Glendinning, who is writing a biography of Leonard Woolf and Christopher Ondaatje, whose book Woolf in Ceylon is published in October.
