The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Bonn offers around 600 fellowships annually to post-doctoral researchers under the age of 40 who wish to pursue their research in Germany. Information on these and other research fellowships and awards as well as application forms for the fellowships may be downloaded from http://www.humboldt-foundation.de. The awards are initially for 6 to 12 months. The fellowship stipend is presently in the range of 2,100 Euro to 3,000 Euro per month (tax-free). Travel and language courses may also be subsidised.
