ADMISSIONS TUTOR

Applications are invited for the post of Admissions Tutor from 1 October 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is two-thirds of full time overall, but seasonally divided, being full time for four months (November to February) and for a short period in August, but less than half time otherwise. The holder is primarily responsible for selecting students for undergraduate places, (arranging interviews, offers, and feedback, moderating between subjects within the College, liaising with other Colleges, and responding to enquiries); the holder also shares responsibility for liaising with schools and encouraging a wide range of applicants. The holder will be elected into an Official Fellowship, and paid pro rata to a full-time salary range of £17,207 to £29,127 (under review).

The post is open to men and women. It may suit someone seeking a less than full-time commitment for most of the year, or someone intending to combine it with continued research, teaching, or other activity connected with higher education.
