Examination in Latin-American Studies for the M.Phil. Degree

With effect from 1 October 2005

The maximum length of the thesis has been reduced from 20,000 words to 15,000 words and the list of subjects from which a candidate may choose two to submit written exercises has been amended as follows:

Regulation 1(a).

By replacing the words 'not exceeding 20,000 words in length' by the words 'not exceeding 15,000 words in length'.

Regulation 1(b).

By replacing subject 1 ' Mexican history' by 'Latin-American history', renumbering subjects 6 and 7 as 7 and 8 respectively, and inserting a new subject 6 'Latin-American film and visual arts'.
