DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY SERVICES

The Director of Library Services will be a full-time, professional librarian reporting to the Fellow Librarian for the development and implementation of policies to improve the Jerwood (undergraduate and postgraduate working library) and the Old Library (depository of the College's collections of manuscripts, incunabula, and other valuable books). These responsibilities include the supervision of the day-to-day operation of the libraries, the Assistant Librarian, and the appointment, training, and supervision of Student Library Assistants.

The post-holder will be a qualified, experienced librarian with an imaginative and innovative outlook, and an ability to plan and make decisions as a head of department. The salary for this post is circa £23,500.
