The Faculty Board of History give notice that Paper 25 (Languages and methods) has been withdrawn with effect from 1 October 2006 (the paper will not be available for examination in 2007) as the Faculty are no longer able to provide teaching. The Faculty Board are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination in 2007 will be adversely affected by this amendment. The regulations have been amended as follows:
Regulation 13.
By deleting Section H, deleting the reference to Paper 25 in the first sentence of the final paragraph, and deleting the last sentence in that paragraph.
Regulation 14.
By amending proviso (i) so as to read:
| (i) | every candidate shall offer at least one paper from Section B, at least one paper from Section C, and at least one paper from Sections D-G; |
and by replacing the numbers 2-25 in proviso (iii) by the numbers 2-24.
Regulation 16.
By deleting the reference to Paper 25 in provisos (viii) and (ix), and by deleting from proviso (x) the words ', or an option for Paper 25 announced by the Faculty Board as satisfying the requirement to offer a European history paper,'.
