LADY MARGARET QUINCENTENARY LECTURES

Sir Mark Tully, KBE, will lecture on India and the certainty of uncertainty, on 6 July, at 5 p.m., in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road (next to the Scott Polar Research Institute). All are welcome.

RECRUITMENT OFFICER

Churchill College is seeking to appoint a part-time Recruitment Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for most of the pre-application contact with schools and with individuals interested in applying to the College. The intention of this new post is to consolidate and develop activities that encourage applications from as wide a range of schools and social backgrounds as possible. The College is seeking a dynamic and energetic graduate with some experience of Cambridge's undergraduate admissions system and/or experience of teaching and advising sixth-form students. It is expected that the post will require three days a week and the salary will be paid pro-rata on a full-time equivalent of between £18,000 and £20,000 depending on age and experience.
