Lectures by Professor Alan Kirman and Professor Amartya Sen will take place on 23 June in the Umney Theatre, Robinson College, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Professor Alan Kirman, of GREQAM, EHESS, and the University of Aix-Marseille, will speak on Searching for identity in the capability space. Professor Amartya Sen, of Harvard University, will speak on Identity as a dividing force.
The lectures and discussion will be followed by a wine reception. These open lectures are part of a Workshop on Capabilities and Identity, co-organized by Robinson College and the Capability and Sustainability Centre, St Edmund's College.
