St Catharine's College

SENIOR BURSAR

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Bursar, to take office during the Michaelmas Term 2005. The Senior Bursar is the principal financial and administrative officer of the College and has responsibility to ensure it has a secure financial base from which to pursue its educational work. The Senior Bursar also oversees its human resource management and leads the Strategic Planning process.

The successful candidate will be elected a Fellow of the College. The initial salary will be set at the lower end of the Professorial scale of the University (currently starting at £52,936). The post is pensionable and includes a package of benefits.

There is no application form. Candidates should write a covering letter of approximately 1,000 words, enclosing a curriculum vitae and the names of three referees by 5 June to the Master, St Catharine's College, Cambridge, CB2 1RL.
