Professor Gerald Jay Postema, A.B., Michigan, M.A., Ph.D., New York, Cary C. Boshamer Professor of Philosophy and Professor of Law, University of North Carolina, elected Arthur Goodhart Visiting Professor in Legal Science from 1 October 2007 for one year.
Dr Kenneth Borthwick Howard Ruthven, B.A., Oxford, Ph.D., Stirling, Reader in Education in the Department of Education, elected Professor of Education (2004) from 1 February 2005.
Professor Daniel Mark Wolpert, B.A., TH, B.M. B.Ch., D.Phil., Oxford, Professor of Motor Neuroscience, University College London, elected Professor of Engineering (1875) from 1 September 2005.
University Offices (Secretariat). Mr Matthew Norman Hawkshaw Moss, M.A., JN, appointed from 1 September 2004 until the retiring age, with duties in the Vice-Chancellor's Office.
University Computing Service. Dr Alan James Edgar, B.Sc., Ph.D., Ulster, appointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 18 April 2005 until the retiring age.
University Offices (Management Information Services Division). Mr Adam Francis Hickin appointed Computer Officer, Grade III, from 14 February 2005 until the retiring age.
Latin-American Studies. Dr Sian Lazar reappointed from 5 January 2006 for one year. Dr Joanna Elizabeth Page, R, reappointed from 1 October 2005 for one year.
Architecture. Dr Cordula Hildegard Van Wyhe, W, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 January 2005 for two years.
Land Economy. Dr Linda Brown Glascock, Mr Gerwyn Li H. Griffiths, Mr Kelvin MacDonald, Ms Jill Morgan, Dr Cesa L. Revoreda Giha, Dr Maria Ruiz-Tagle, Mr David Stott, and Mr Leonard D. Van Drunen have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for one year.
Music. Dr Samuel James Barrett, CLH, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 January 2005 for two years.
