University College

CAWKWELL FELLOWSHIP IN ANCIENT HISTORY

University College proposes to elect a Tutorial Fellow in Ancient Greek History (to be known as the Cawkwell Fellow in Ancient History) from 1 October 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post will be held in association with a Stipendiary Lectureship at The Queen's College and a University Lectureship in the Faculty of Classics. The successful candidate will have an established research record within any area of Ancient History (Greek), and a high ability in, and strong commitment to, undergraduate and graduate teaching.

The total University and College stipend is on an age-related scale up to £45,707, plus generous College allowances. The appointment will be pensionable under the USS scheme.
