UNIVERSITY LECTURESHIP (CUF) IN THEOLOGY AND TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP AT TRINITY COLLEGE

The Faculty of Theology and Trinity College invite applications for the above post in the area of Modern Christian Theology, tenable from 1 October 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter. Ability to teach for the following undergraduate papers in the Theology B.A. Degree course is necessary: God, Christ and salvation; the Christian doctrine of creation; further studies in history and doctrine (i.e. one or more twentieth-century Christian theologian). The research interests of, and graduate supervision offered by the candidates should reflect these teaching specializations. An ability to teach in related areas, such as Christian life and thought in Europe, 1789-1914; the development of doctrine in the early Church to CE451 is desirable, and the candidate appointed would be expected to provide undergraduate teaching in at least one such related area, and preferably more. Applicants must state which subjects they propose to teach for the College.
