STIPENDIARY LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH LITERATURE

Applications are invited for a one-year Lectureship in English, with possible renewal for a further year, commencing 1 October 2005. The Lecturer will be required to give six hours' tutorial teaching a week for Finals papers in English Literature in the period 1509-1740. There may also be a need for other teaching in the same period for Joint Schools, particularly English-Classics.

STIPENDIARY LECTURESHIP IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

Applications are invited for a one-year Lectureship in Chemistry commencing 1 October 2005. The Lecturer will be required to give six hours' tutorial teaching a week for Preliminary and Final Honour School General Papers in Organic Chemistry, and Option Papers and Supplementary Subjects linked to Organic Chemistry, and manage the Organic Chemistry teaching otherwise.

OKINAGA JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN JAPANESE STUDIES

Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellowship, tenable for two years in the first instance, from l October 2005, and renewable for a third year. The Fellow will be required to pursue research at postdoctoral level in Japanese Studies. The stipend is presently in the range £19,460 to £29,128. The Fellow will be a member of the Governing Body of the College.
