Queens' College

LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

Queens' College invites applications for a College Lectureship in English, with effect from 1 October 2005. The appointment, which is funded for five years, is open to both men and women. The College welcomes applications from suitably qualified persons working in any field before 1850. The successful candidate will be elected into an Official Fellowship. The stipend of a Lecturer, which can be pensionable under USS, is currently at a point in the range of £16,706 to £28,280 a year depending on age and experience.

Candidates should ask at least two referees to write separately and confidentially to the Senior Tutor. The deadline for receipt of applications and references is 22 March.

BYE FELLOWSHIP IN PURE MATHEMATICS

Queens' College invites applications for a Bye Fellowship in Pure Mathematics, with effect from 1 October 2005. The appointment will be for a fixed term of two years and is open to both men and women. The College welcomes applications from suitably qualified persons who have just completed, or are about to complete their Ph.D. Degree. The stipend will be in the range of £14,000 to £15,000, depending on qualifications.
